Supported by LMCC’s Manhattan Arts Creative Engagement program, this forthcoming public arts project brings choreography into relation with site, public space, and community-facing performance. The work continues Yao’s interest in how movement can organize shared attention, create temporary forms of gathering, and open a public encounter between body, place, memory, and civic life.
The project is currently in development and will unfold as a Manhattan-based public arts production.
