The Face to Face Arts in Education Conference

Move, make, and take away a ready-to-teach Chinese cultural dance sequence. This hands-on workshop translates Chinese classical shenfa and yun into clear classroom choreography. Expect a brisk warm-up, three travel patterns, and flowing arm phrases inspired by Chinese water-sleeve movement (adapted to work with or without props), followed by guided duet building. We will model consent language, culturally sustaining framing, and inclusive adaptations.
