Profile XX is an intergenerational feminist dance-theatre work that examines how womanhood is shaped through social surveillance, internal fragmentation, and inherited memory. Choreographically, the trio functions as a temporal and psychological apparatus: the youngest performer embodies pre-gaze instinct, while the older performers mirror, refine, and distort gesture into learned poise, fear, and composure. Drawing on Jungian concepts of persona, shadow, and inner child, the work stages masking and unmasking as a choreographic method for tracking psychic formation across life stages.
