Ash & Bone is a ritual-framed ensemble work that treats mourning as an enacted social practice and examines identity as both mask and paradox. Choreographically, it scores partial occlusion, weight-sharing, and destabilized partnering to make collapse legible as both rupture and reconfiguration. Set against ecological and political fracture, the work asks how authenticity is mediated by context and survival, and how embodied relationality can reassemble selfhood within instability.
